The wine

An interesting blend of grapes, and actually from very young grapes (planted between 1999 and 2000), that has become one of Spain's most outstanding names. Although not without good reason, as Peter Sisseck, whose name is linked to the great Pingus and Hacienda Monasterio wines, sets out guidelines for this winery to follow.

An attractive dark cherry colour, it displays elegant, powerful yet delicate aromas on the nose, especially highlighting ripe fruit and oaky touches. Balanced on entry, this wine has plenty of body and a creaminess underlined by sweet, very tasty tannins. Ripe fruit appears again on the retronasal aromas, and ending with a lengthy, persistent finish.

Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels.
