The wine
When the vintage does not permit, according to the highest Quintarellian standards, bottling Amarone, that same wine comes out as Rosso del Bepi. A downgrade? Quite the contrary, indeed: Rosso del Bepi represents perhaps better than any other red the philosophy and productive talent of the Quintarelli house. Eight years in a big barrel after the canonical four months of drying of the grapes make it majestic, regal, silky. Of incalculable complexity and powerful but graceful structure. An impressive example of the level and class of Bepi's masterly skill.
