The wine
Oslavje is an extremely special white wine with great character. Macerated on the skins for three months, upon presentation is seems unassuming, of a warm amber colour with copper highlights. On the nose it reveals intense and persistent fruity aromas of apple, peach, dried fruit and spices, with the addition of a slight ethereal nuance. The palate shows good freshness and marked sapidity, so much so that it is almost salty. The alcohol balances the flavour, mineral and slightly tannic, persistent and piquant. Spicy finish of incredible length. Perfect with risotto or pasta with meat sauce, roast meat, grilled meat, stewed white meat, mature cheeses.
