The wine

The Reserva was the first wine to be released by Fernando Remírez and it has maintained its excellent mark of quality ever since.

As with all wines from this bodega, care has been taken over every last detail of production, from the vineyard to the selection of cork. The result is patently obvious in this complex, harmonious wine of great personality which reflects so well the terroir and place of origin. This is most definitely a very fine wine that will have no trouble delighting the most demanding palates.

NOTE: Decanting is recommended an hour before serving.

Matured for 21 months in new French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels.

Bodegas Fernando Remírez de Ganuza

Located in Samaniego, in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, there exists what we could call the region's authentic “signature” winery. Thanks to the intelligent, keen-eyed work of Fernando Remírez de Ganuza, this wine conveys his singular approach and methodology, as well as its own individual character and distinguishing features.“New Rioja” would mean simply nothing without this great innovator and his now much-revered winery.
