Rounded Red At A Bargain Price

We first tried this wine earlier this year in a lovely little restaurant in Puerto Del Carmen (Lanzarote) where it was being served as the house red wine. The restaurant was so good that we sampled the wine over several evenings as we went there a lot!! So when we got home I started tracking some down and found it on Vinissimus website. Initially hesitant about getting wine delivered to the UK from Cataluna in Spain, I just couldn't help myself when I saw the price tag of this wine - even with delivery charges, it's around £5 a bottle delivered to your door. If you're into an uncomplicated, rounded, smooth, drinkable wine at an affordable price, you CANNOT go wrong with this. Get it to a nice temperature and aerate well before serving to be rewarded fully. And the delivery service from Vinissimum was absolutely faultless through UPS.

excellent value

We decided to take a punt (a Chance) on buying a real cheap wine, to compare it to the more expensive wines we buy. So it doesn't have the full deep flavours or richness of some wines that are a twice the price. But, it is still a nice easy drinking wine with no bad after taste. So for the money, it is definitely worth buying a few to keep on the rack, to accompany most meals. And a such a fantastic low price, you will never feel guilty for opening a bottle. We are definitely ordering some more.

Lovely full bodied wine. Several of us have tried it among others to sell in our restaurant and have chosen it as the best for quality and value . We definitely recommend it.

A little disappointed

Having tasted the 2019 vintage of this wine in Mallorca this one lacks depth.
