The wine

Made solely in years of exceptional vintages, from a coupage in which the Mantonegro (55%) predominates, from the Can Ribas vineyards and vines aged over 60 years old. It's accompanied by 40% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, from 25 year-old vineyards, which bring structure and depth to a complex, mature and elegant ensemble that has considerable fruit expression.

A Picota cherry-red colour, highlights on the nose are its aromas of well-ripened red and black fruit, cocoa, liquorice and its mineral, balsamic and toasty notes. On the palate, its finesse, complexity and fullness are quite remarkable. Consistent and pleasant, with verve and powerfulness, long and expressive. Ideal as an accompaniment to game dishes and rich stews, traditional Iberian ham, and chocolate with a high cocoa content.
