The wine
Homage to the Maremma beasts, Ornello takes its name from the wood of the pointed stick used by them to lead the leaders. Fresh and elegant, Ornello is enriched by a remarkable percentage of Syrah, which makes it persuasive and spicy on the nose, as well as rich and full on the palate. The nose also shows fruity, balsamic and earthy scents. In the mouth it reveals a very well integrated and velvety tannin, a fascinating softness and a fruity and spicy finish of exceptional length.

The Castellare Chianti area know-how applied to the immense Maremma terroir. A partnership with the Domaines Barons de Rothschild of Château Lafite for the winemaking management of the Bordeaux vineyards. A wonderful modern cellar designed by Renzo Piano. What more can you want in a glass of wine?
