Thanks to the tireless work done by four generations, the Paolo Saracco winery, founded by his great grandfather Luiggi in 1900, has become quite a reference point for Moscato lovers in search of a quality product impeccably made. The sweet wines which the winery produces, the Moscato d'Asti and the Moscato d'Autunno, figure on the wine lists of the world's most prestigious restaurants. The winery owns 46 hectares in Castigione Tinella (one of Italy's most popular vineyards); boasting lands with an excellent exposure and vines that have been cultivated over several decades.
Of a greenish colour with beautiful straw-like reflections, the Moscato by Paolo Saracco, a dyed in the wool wine perfectionist, has a fine and continuous effervescence which works like a dream. The bouquet, as always, is multi-faceted and elegant with aromas of orange blossoms and yellow fruit (from peach to loquat to gooseberry), herbs like sage and thyme, citrus scents. The taste is sweet and fresh, and unusually satisfying, rich in aromas and remarkably fragrant. The finish, masterfully and naturally aromatic, leans towards the vegetal and makes you want to sip it endlessly, over and over again, without a thought in your mind, thanks to the effect of its evanescence.

A pure pleasure
This wine was a delightful surprise. It is great as a dessert wine but is so light and fruity that it could easily be drunk on its own. The hint of bubbles gives a great lift to the wine. We intend to drink many more bottles of this. We will use it on Christmas day with great pleasure.

Excellent option for dessert.
This particular Moscato d'asti is my favourite. Interesting complexity with floral and fruity notes. Small fizzyness gives extra dimension, not just dessert wine it offers more variety of using.

I keep coming back for more
I discovered this beauty at a restaurant in Florence and have since gone out of my way to source it. Always keep a few bottles in my wine cabinet. I absolutely love it! As does anyone else i care to share it with.

Excellent drink
Saracco is over just a wine, its a wonderful drink on top of that. Nice taste with balanced texture. 5.5% makes it an irresistable choice for drinking even several times a week. Magnificent!
