Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker

The 2019 Sortevera Blanco is now a wine from Suertes del Marqués, but it's a collaboration with the grower Alonso Ramos from Taganana. It's a white blend of Malvasia Aromática, Forastera, Listán Blanco, Vijariego Blanco, Marmajuelo and Gual grapes from different vineyards in the zones of Las Fajanetas, Amogoje and Margalagua. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in 500-liter barrels, where it matured for 10 months. It has a very pungent and medicinal nose; it's a little reductive and spicy. It has pungent flavors and a bitter twist in the finish. It's rounder and has more ripeness (13.5%) than the 2020 I tasted next to it. Only 650 bottles were filled in July 2020. No 2021 was produced.
