The wine
From the Dominio de Valdepusa estate (pago) under the eponymous appellation label, it is a modern blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. A mineral, complex and persistent wine full of character, it represents a clear example of the potential of Toledo wines.
A cherry colour with a garnet rim, the wine's nose exhibits red fruit aromas with mineral and spicy notes, and the palate is tasty, powerful and balanced.
Aged for 12 months in French Allier oak barrels
