The red 2019 Tentenublo was produced with the fruit from different plots planted with Tempranillo, Garnacha and white grapes in the Sobremoro paraje (a place in Viñaspre that has 300 hectares) that has red sandstone soils that produces powerful wines. Each plot is fermented separately, in concrete or plastic bin, depending on the size, and the wines matured also separately in different oak barrels for nine months. 2019 is a riper vintage, and the wines show it. This has a heady perfume with something earthy, floral, with tons of aromatic herbs (rosemary, thyme, lavender), nutmeg, clove and other spices reminiscent of a vermouth, with notes of ink, a bit mysterious (soy sauce?) and attractive, with notes of black fruit. The palate is medium to full-bodied, very complete, with fine tannins and a powerful mouthfeel. This has 14.5% alcohol but doesn't feel warm at all. This has personality and is very attractive. 13,633 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2021.
