The wine
In the Bolgheri area where Cabernet Sauvignon is the most cultivated variety, Campo al Mare stands out for the original use mostly of Merlot, which gives a softer and more enveloping character to the wine. The purple red color opens the way to aromas of red fruits and spices outlined by a vibrant balsamic vein. The taste is velvety and enveloping with a long finish.
