The wine
Tenuta San Guido Le Difese is a wine of great depth and refinement, balanced and harmonious. Intense ruby red color, envelops the nose with intriguing notes of blackberry and cherry combined with the softness of chocolate and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is round, full, fresh and with pleasant sweet tannins. Perfect paired with pasta dishes with meat sauce, mushroom risotto, roasted and grilled meat and stewed white meat.

Tenuta San Guido is named after Saint Guido della Gherardesca, a hermit who lived in the vicinity of the winery in the 11th Century.
