Punta Aquila is a Primitivo briefly aged in oak barrels. Complex, intense, concentrated, it is destined to reserve pleasant surprises over time. Dark ruby, tending to garnet, the nose gives ethereal, fragrant and rich notes distinguish this wide and enveloping wine, which displays clear hints and nuances of cherry in spirit, blackberry, blueberry and black currant jam, rhubarb, humus, tobacco, ginger, black pepper and aromatic herbs.

Decisive, consistent and dynamic gustatory impact, from which a fascinating minerality emerges, which blends well with the powerful structure of the fruit, the vigorous acid boost and with the already pleasant and exuberant tannins. It prefers important dishes based on game and medium and long matured cheeses. Excellent with pappardelle with hare, pork stew, tripe rolls.
