The wine

The Etna Rosso from Tenuta delle Terre Nere is a timeless classic; it comes from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes coming from all the company vineyards, from the youngest to the oldest, from sapling-grown stumps, silent witnesses of the moods of the volcano for 20, 40 or even 50 years. The goal is to offer a wine that knows how to express itself in all its innate elegance from the first moments to then acquire with aging, if given the possibility, unexpected nuances and fine complexity.

The nose comes with fragrant notes of small ripe, sweet and juicy fruits, cherries in particular, together with flowers, mentholated notes and a fine spicy note brought by the Nerello Cappuccio variety (nutmeg, green pepper). Elegant by nature but not at all affected; it is a very versatile wine, a bottle that, we bet, you will often want to uncork. The sip is vibrant, fresh and graceful, the tannins present but gentle lead to a drink that literally creates addiction.
