Spec sheet
The wine
It comes from old Tempranillo vines recovered from their abandonment. It is organically grown at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level, on slate soils. Aged in 20% new American oak barrels for 9 months. Subsequent ageing in the bottle for a further 4 to 8 months.
A wine with a beautiful violet to red colour. Good glycerine and possible lees. On the nose, ripe fruit, liquorice and a touch of peach. On the palate it is concentrated with marked tannin and lactic notes. Fluid, fresh and mineral. Perfect balance between barrel ageing and the freshness of the grape.
