Valdo Prosecco Marca Oro
Spec sheet
What does this wine taste like?
Produced with grape glera on the splendid hills of Valdobbiadene, Marca Oro is a superior Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco with a fascinating light straw-yellow colour with golden highlights. It is also typical and pleasant for its fine-grained and persistent perlage. The bouquet is textbook: fruity, with hints of wild apple, golden apple, acacia flowers and honey. Slender and gentle, of moderate body, it is creamy and silky on the palate, with a slight residual sweetness determined by the dosage, which is the classic extra dry.

Drinking and storing
Serve chilled in a flute or "Franciacorta" glass to visually enjoy its fine perlage. Dose in small quantities so that it does not heat up too quickly; keep the bottle in a glacette or in a container with water and ice to maintain its temperature.
Food pairing
An excellent aperitif, it is perfectly suited to all social occasions. It can be enjoyed throughout a meal, accompanying delicate foods, especially fish.

It was Sergio, in 1941, who came up with the Valdo brand, which recalls the magical territory of Valdobbiadene, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the cradle of the best Prosecco, and it should come as no surprise that Valdo owns...
