Venta La Ossa Tempranillo

The Venta La Ossa Tempranillo 2018 is a red wine from the IGP Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla, produced by Bodegas Mano a Mano. This single-varietal Tempranillo comes from vineyards with old vines, planted in bush form at an altitude of 750 metres on sandy soils, with ages ranging from 60 to 100 years, resulting in low yields of 1 to 1.5 kg per vine.

The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes to preserve the integrity of the grape. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 28°C, followed by maceration for several weeks. The wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels, providing complexity and balance. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits, balsamic notes that provide freshness and a mineral touch, all well integrated with nuances of spices, coffee and cocoa from the aging in oak. On the palate, it is powerful, tasty and long, inviting you to continue tasting it. This wine pairs perfectly with red meats and small game dishes, enhancing the gastronomic experience.
