Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker

The finest vintage of the red from Cobrana has to be the 2021 VO Cobrana, which comes from a challenging year, with rain and pressure from mildew (and perhaps some botrytis). It's very perfumed, elegant and Burgundian, floral and super tasty, with very fine tannins, very good freshness and balance. In 2021, she found many more vineyards and the yields were better, so she was able to produce much more wine and better quality too! This is even better than the 2018, which was my favorite until now. It should get even better with some time in bottle, as it was only bottled in March 2023, despite the fact that the 20221s have been accessible from early on. 7,500 bottles produced.

Verónica Ortega

Verónica Ortega is one of the great promises of Spanish wine. Originally from Cadiz, she left her Andalusian homeland after finishing her oenology studies at the University of Cadiz to embark on an intense learning path that would lead her to work in different countries and always alongside some of the greatest names in wine. In Priorat, Ortega harvested grapes alongside Daphne Glorian and Álvaro Palacios. She later worked in a biodynamic winery in New Zealand and...
