The wine
The Chianti of the Villa da Filicaja is a traditional Chianti wine, obtained from Sangiovese grapes (native Tuscan red grape variety) and Merlot. At sight it has a ruby red color; to the nose it expresses pleasant fruity scents and memories of undergrowth. On the palate it is medium-bodied and structured, Perfect to accompany savory first courses, with meat sauce, it goes perfectly with red meats, game, stewed and braised meats.
