Zamò Pinot Grigio Ramato
2021Spec sheet
The wine
The Vigne di Zamò Pinot Grigio Ramato comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Manzano, in the province of Udine. The Pinot Grigio grapes are destemmed and left to macerate cold overnight. This is followed by pressing and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. After 8 months of ageing on the lees, the wine is bottled and marketed. It is a wine of solid structure and intense aromaticity.
What does this wine taste like?
It is of a deep coppery-pink colour; the aromatic bouquet expresses pleasant and fresh floral and fruity notes of peach and citrus fruits, rounded off by vanilla and tropical fruit sensations, with a light spiciness. A smooth wine, fresh but at the same time warm and ample. Savoury finish with slightly perceptible and persistent tannins.
