Zuccardi Aluvional Los Chacayes 2019 is a premium red wine produced by the Zuccardi winery, one of the most renowned wineries in Argentina. This wine comes from the Los Chacayes sub-region, located in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, an area characterised by its alluvial terroir, which contributes unique characteristics to its wines.
Aluvional Los Chacayes 2019 is made from 100% Malbec grapes, grown in vineyards located more than 1,100 metres above sea level. This altitude and the alluvial soil contribute to the freshness and minerality that distinguish this wine.
In the glass, it has a deep red colour with violet reflections. The nose is complex and elegant, with intense aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by floral notes of violets and hints of spices and herbs. Its ageing in oak barrels gives it subtle hints of chocolate, tobacco and vanilla.
On the palate, Zuccardi Aluvional Los Chacayes 2019 is structured, with firm, well-integrated tannins. It offers a vibrant acidity that balances its power, and a long and persistent finish that leaves memories of ripe fruit and mineral notes.
This wine is ideal with red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker
Produced with grapes from Los Arbolitos within Los Chacayes, the new 2015 Aluvional Los Chacayes was harvested earlier and fermented in concrete with 30% to 50% full clusters with indigenous yeast. It aged in older oak and for a shorter amount of time. Oak and sweetness have disappeared completely from the Aluvional range, and the wines reflect the place a bit more—the direction in which they have been working, especially since 2013/2014. The 2015 vintage doesn't show any heat or ripeness, and the whole top range shows very good freshness and is very regular. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2016.
