Bodega Ribas

Bodegas Ribas is considered to be the oldest family winery in Spain. Its origins date back to 1711 and the name of its founder, Pedro Ribas de Cabrera, devoted to working the island’s traditional crops of olives and vines back in the 18^th century. Ever since then, generation after generation of the family have continued Pedro's work at Hereus de Ribas, making wine with a commitment to the land, history and heritage. They are currently carrying out research to improve the local grape varieties, minimize intervention in the vineyards and reduce the environmental impact of their production methods.
