Pojer e Sandri

Pojer e Sandri is an Italian winery that dates back to 1975 when a young Fiorentino Sandri inherited a plot of vineyards in the Alpine village of Faedo and teamed up with his winemaker friend Mario Pojer, who had just graduated from the San Michele Agricultural Institute. This partnership has been very 'fruitful' and is now in its fourth decade.

Their aim in this unexplored wine-growing region between the Adige and Cembra valleys was simple but ambitious: they wanted to demonstrate that, with care and skill, contrary to popular belief, the Faedo area (and its surroundings) was capable of producing world-class wines.

Since the 2010 harvest, Pojer & Sandri has been a winery with its own bottling facility. They currently cultivate all the vineyards from which they produce a wide range of Trentino wines. Most of the vineyards are owned by Pojer & Sandri and a small percentage of the vineyards are under long-term contracts but are cultivated by themselves.

Thus, they have achieved an important goal as they continue to follow their "quality" philosophy from the ground up. They have great respect for nature, the seasons, the terroir and the traditions of old and wise farmers.
